CRISTO REY COMMUNITY CENTER
HOUSING PROGRAM
In July of 2008, Cristo Rey Community Center formed a Housing Program in partnership with the Ingham County Land Bank.
Because of the recent economic down turn and the high rate of mortgage foreclosures, we saw an increase of vacant houses in our community and the need to make these houses into livable homes.
In partnership with the Ingham County Land Bank, Cristo Rey rehabilitated vacant homes. Once they are finished, they have a high energy efficient rating with brand new appliances, carpet, new roofs, siding and remodeled bathrooms and kitchens.
These houses are made available as owner occupied dwellings. If an individual is interested, they may specify specific carpet, paint and may chose kitchen and bathroom cabinets, etc.
The following are current listings that Cristo Rey Community Center is working on or has already completed.
If you are interested in any of these homes, please call Mary Ruttan at the Ingham County Land Bank (517-267-5221) or John Roy Castillo at Cristo Rey Community Center (517)372-4700).
